Championships create legends.
Heritage inspires generations.

Great franchises inspire millions. Their deepest legacy reaches beyond the final score.

The Mount Zion Foundation of Jerusalem invites you to explore a connection between your family’s or franchise’s values and the heritage of King David: courage, leadership, faith and service.

Three paths bring that invitation to life: a remarkable tapestry, an enduring benefactor legacy, and a warrior identity that can inspire a team and its community.

A place of faith.
A story entrusted
to generations.

The heritage collection is presented in association with the Royal Tomb Complex traditionally revered as King David’s resting place on Mount Zion.

The Foundation’s account describes a heritage shared through generations of Jewish and Arab custodians. Its invitation is to preserve that story as a symbol of faith, unity and peace.

Historical associations follow the Foundation’s heritage materials. Detailed provenance and collection information may be requested for review.

A treasure of faith
and blessings.

The Foundation’s brochure identifies the tapestry as a gift from Baron Edmond de Rothschild and associates it with King David’s Upper Tomb Monument, where it is said to have remained from the 1880s until 1948.

In the tradition of segula, it is cherished as a symbol of blessing, protection, tranquility and hope. For a collector, its appeal lies in the meeting of textile artistry, sacred tradition and a story worth preserving.
